Winter Wonder Slam!!!!!!!!!

The youth Group traveled to Salem Sunday to go to the Toby Mac and Relient K's Winter Wonder Slam!!! We had 16 people come all together! Lots of great Christian Rock and Roll. We stopped at McDonalds on our way up. It was rather funny trying to find our way around Salem but Rob finally got us to a McDonalds.
We arrived RIGHT on time for the concert! Which meant, we didn't have the BEST seats but it was still so much fun! Relient K played some of their greatest hits and threw in some great Christmas songs too. But Toby Mac was the Cherry on Top of the Sundae for sure!. He is so on Fire for the Lord and it showed through out his WHOLE concert! He paused in the middle and share the gospel! Pray for the kids that came with us that may not know Jesus! The Gospel was given plain and clear!:)

Exciting service this Sunday....the kids so enjoyed it and Pastor Mark was no where to be found!?!?!

Check out our Ladies Bible Study!!

We are studying Kay Arthur's book: LORD, HEAL MY HURTS. It is a very interesting and informative study dealing with the struggles we all face with pain and emotional hurts in life.

We are taking a break through the holidays, but will be meeting again beginning January 8, 2010.

WE HAD A BLAST!!! Over 20 kids came and most of them were from PCBC!!! Thanks for coming and BOISA'S...Thanks for opening your home! We had a WONDERFUL TIME!!!!!!!!!

Old Fashioned Sunday!

Old Fashioned Sunday was a HIT!!! For those you of you that don't know, Pastor Mark was a pastor in Livermore Colorado for 9 years, before heading to Oregon. This was COWBOY country. They really wanted to reach the area for Jesus Christ and so they created this HUGE outreach to get the Country people to church to hear the goodness of Jesus! Old Fashioned Sunday was a hit and the community LOVE IT. This year PCBC decided to start this tradition on their own! And what a HIT it was! Though the rain and wind blew like crazy, God used the Sousek Sisters, Pastor Jack, Pastor Mark, and our amazing Worship team to share the WORD of God. The fellowship was so much fun and the food was AMAZING! Thank you all who put so much hard work into it. We look forward to next year(and maybe some SUN ;) )

Another one bites the dust! GOODBYE Rob!!!

Sunday evening, we had our Goodbye Party for Rob! We had a HUGE turnout and enjoyed lots of good food!! Hot dogs, brownies, chips, and Angela's YUMMY icecream cake! It was a wonderful time had by all. As a going away present, the boys filled up water balloons and tricked....I mean, surprised Rob with them, heehee!

THANKS ROB for a WONDERFUL YEAR! You will be MISSED!!!

Praying for the Howes!

This past week we rented this boat and sent up our building materials. It took the boat 4 to 5 days to get to the tribal location as it was loaded down with boards, cement, bricks, nails, aluminum, pipe, furniture, water tanks and many other things. We praise the Lord that it arrived safely.

Please pray for us as we travel up to build. Pray for safety as we build. Pray that in the time we are up there that we will be able to get a lot of the construction done. Our desire is to be able to move into these houses as soon as possible so that we can get going on language learning. Lord willing by the end of March we would like to be in our home there in the Breu. Also please pray for Mary-Jane as she remains back here in Cruzeiro with the kids while we are up building….these separation times are hard on us both and the kids.
